Nestled in the woods of Cabool, Missouri, the property is surrounded by lush greenery and has this incredibly calming energy the moment you arrive. They’ve built a stunning sauna by the lake that is an absolute gem, and every detail of the place reflects how much thought and care has gone into creating it. The guest rooms are extremely comfortable, the food is top quality, and the staff are genuinely some of the best people I’ve encountered. You can feel immediately that everyone here truly wants the best for the people in their care and the fact that it’s a donation-based nonprofit says everything about their intentions. I came to visit my sister, who is now nearly two years into her healing journey here and this is the first program that has ever truly worked for her. After years of trying, watching her thrive in this environment has been incredible. New Life isn’t just a facility, it’s a community of good people doing meaningful work. If you have a loved one who needs real, compassionate support in a stunning, serene setting, I cannot recommend New Life enough. We are so grateful.
