Was a long morning. Ok, I was there for about 1.5 hrs to have X-rays done. It WAS the day after a Holiday, so I expected the wait. But to be seated and waiting for Abt an hour, I was finally called up because I was a new patient and they hadn't realized that. Filled out what should have been done an hour earlier, and was shortly called back to X-ray. All in all, it probably would have been better for me to go later in the week. Lesson learned. It was a nice facility as well as the staff.
Force to to be discharged against will police to ensure enforcement with low blood pressure and recent loss of consciousness and feeling like loss of consciousness could happen again at any moment credible witness on speakerphone on speaker phone is credible witness puc graduate Bachelors of Nursing past work experience including Yountville Veterans Home Care West Calistoga when they still existed in Crestwood right by puc with a previous co-worker at this ER I wish that person had been taken care of me instead of the night shift here magnesium for a 90/60 blood pressure instead of IV saline fluid is not just insulting it's reckless endangerment and forced ejection I was Gaslight by the nurse in charge who didn't think lymphatic drainage could be disturbed by Scar Tissue and end up as a series of facial lesions I'll be back when I get my test results and confirmation from Stanford University which I just got a referral to go to their neurology Department in exactly the department that I need to be in to get tested for small fiber neuropathy and whatever pots stands for I always forget I will be back with the proof that the the person who had me discharged against my will need to be educated and should listen to a patient whose read the doctor's notes to all the surgeries they've been under the knife for under general anesthesia who has a mother has been teaching her everything she knew about medicine mental and psychiatric since day since I was old enough to understand words I will never stop screaming until people do their jobs Hippocratic Oaths are followed her or met in patients are not treated like a problem or a bed that needs to be cleared by noon but like people with lives and families and children and pets that might depend on them and need to be treated with respect regardless of what what problems they have like mine is losing the ability to control my hands and feel them my fingers and hold my drinks and trust my hands on a steering wheel but I won't stop until I know that the people in this community are treated better because I know for a fact because the what I was 72 hours self absent from at home with the test I had to know for myself because I never allowed any substance to have any control over me and because I had once had a clearance to work on classified military networks and I hold myself to a higher standard but I needed to know what the experience of the people in my community had and the only way I could understand their struggles was to allow myself to experience them as well so that I can understand the struggles of others in my community and I see now some people are forced to use these things as crutches because the people that are supposed to help them don't because all they see is the substance and said that the person who's trying to survive by who might have better options if the people in the medical field would actually help them and treat them like human beings instead of objects that need to be cleared before high noon because that's how they get rated for their effectiveness and their efficiency add clearing beds before noon not for actually helping people and stabilize them stabilizing them and respecting the oath they took when they started working in that field I have more respect for the job I the jobs all the jobs I've ever had I've had more respect for than any of the people I experienced it on the night shift with the exception of the person running the Radiology equipment that is the only person I have no complaints against the only person who is professional and polite and didn't make me feel like a burden to the system but the human being who is was obviously having a problem and did not receive anything that helped but only cause more harm including being expected to walk from the bus back to my home in the snow with low blood pressure if I passed out could have died from hypothermia but that was acceptable to the nurse that forced my discharge against my will and I'm going through various channels to ensure that what happened to me doesn't happen to anybody else
What a great team! From the moment I was wheeled into the ER to the moment, I left the hospital, I was treated exceptionally well. Administrative staff, physician, assistant, nurse, and physician were all professional, efficient, and very pleasant. Despite my concern over my medical condition, I was made to feel comfortable and reassured. I was given clear information and instructions verbally and in a print out upon leaving. My primary care physician was notified of the ER visit that same morning and advise to schedule a follow up appointment with me. I also received a text the following day asking how I was doing and if I had any questions. This was an outstanding team effort.
The ER staff at Adventist health in Clearlke took care of my brother who has End Stage Renal Disease last night, and they were amazing! Kind, Caring. thoroughl, just overall fantastic!! Thank you so much everyone for making Robert feel like he wasn't just a number.. but a human being!
I'm here in the ER right now no call button so I guess I'm going to have to yell for someone. I tell medical staff anywhere when I'm going to have blood taken that I'm sometimes hard to stick because I have elhers-danlos syndrome which I did here with my nurse in the ER. After I told the nurse that info she made the decision to let an EMT intern stick me, I was trying to be a good patient and let him try but after two painful trys I asked my nurse (who was watching all this)that I wanted a nurse that was experienced in this sort of thing to do the stick , she said that she was the best at drawing blood in the department ?!?!? Why? Did I have to go through that pain when I was already in pain, and had made it clear that I needed someone experienced from the beginning!?!
