After multiple hospital visits across different facilities, our family’s most exceptional experience has been at Adventist Health Glendale. Unlike many hospitals where long wait times are overwhelming, this was the first place that truly recognized the severity of my mom’s condition and responded with urgency, professionalism, and genuine compassion. The hospital was very clean and well-maintained, creating a comforting environment during an already stressful time. What made the experience even more meaningful was the Armenian-speaking staff members who were attentive, kind, and deeply respectful. Their ability to communicate with my mother in Armenian brought her comfort and reassurance. We are especially grateful to Nurses Maria, Nareh, and Carlos, the RNs who cared for my mother during her recovery from urology surgery. Each of them demonstrated great empathy, patience, and attentiveness. They took the time to truly listen, offer support, and treat my mother with dignity and warmth, qualities that are unfortunately rare to find. We will always remember the compassion and humanity shown to us during such a difficult time. Thank you to the entire team for providing not only excellent medical care, but also genuine kindness and support that made all the difference.
My recent experience was very pleasurable for having to have a surgical procedure. The pre-op team was very nice and helpful. They kept me informed as to what was going to happen and what to prepare for. The surgical team was very much the same. Very friendly and caring. The post-op team and discharge team was very much the same. Very friendly, caring and answered all my questions and prepared me for discharge.
While it is customary to share concerns about services, I believe it is equally important to acknowledge outstanding care. From the moment I arrived on your main campus until my discharge through the West Tower, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. It was evident that your team takes great pride in both their work and your organization. Thank you to all whom I recognized on a separate letter acknowledging the individuals who I will never forget and grateful to each of you.
I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Adventist Health Glendale Hospital for the exceptional care I received from admissions through discharge. From the very beginning, everyone treated me with compassion, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness during what was a very worrisome procedure for me. I especially want to recognize Eureka, who took all of my medical history and truly took her time explaining the procedure and every step that would take place from beginning to end. Her patience, kindness, and reassurance made me feel informed and comfortable throughout the process. She did all the this while being rushed and demeaned by another nurse. I’m also very grateful to my OR nurse, the anesthesiologist, and the nurse assisting Dr. Mellow. Every single person worked together seamlessly and made me feel safe, cared for, and supported. The teamwork in post-op was also amazing CNA (male-) taking my vitals and transported me to vehicle, the level of patient care I experienced was exceptional. Thank you all for making such a stressful experience feel much more manageable. Your compassion and dedication truly made a difference
My husband had a procedure at Glendale Adventist yesterday. I was very nervous both for him and myself. But every single person we dealt either was so kind and helpful. The procedure was over quickly and safely. We were kept apprised of everything that was happening along the way. I was happy to go to Glendale Adventist because it is literally 10 minutes from our house. But now I am glad because it is a world class medical facility. Thank you to everyone connected with the staff.
