My mom was lucky enough to get into this rehab hospital! Her 13 day stay was a true blessing! Everyone from start to finish was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The facility itself was immaculate. Thanks to Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West, my mom was able to go home strong enough to resume life as she knew it in the comfort of her own home! Thank you to all of those who had their hands in her recovery! We are beyond grateful!
I had a great experience at Banner Rehab Hospital West. Every person I interacted with was incredibly kind and caring. The food was surprisingly good, and the nurses were truly exceptional. On top of that, the therapists were all incredibly kind and supportive. Their positive approach had a meaningful impact on my recovery. I felt well taken care of every step of the way.
I want to share a story that touched my heart. On February 11, 2026, I had quadruple heart bypass surgery and truly needed professional care to start my new life. The best decision I ever made was coming to Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West. I spent two weeks there, and they were the most precious days of my life. The staff was magnificent — professional and always willing to go above and beyond. I learned new ways to care for myself gently and safely, and I felt so well taken care of that it broke my heart to leave. I loved the morning smiles, the nourishing meals (with the ability to choose healthy options), and the physical therapy — it made a huge difference. It’s important to remember you’re not alone when you feel you are; there are people ready to help you through it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You changed my life forever. I am doing very well because of all of you. Special thanks to Stewart for making me laugh, to Todd for being so helpful, to my doctor and to Dr. Ota, and to all the PT staff and specially my nurses — you’re awesome. Keep up the great work!
Banner West is a top notch rehabilitation facility! After spending a week at Mayo Clinic to recover from a major hip reconstruction surgery, I was lucky to be transferred to Banner West Rehab Facility to continue my recovery prior to going home. The wound care nurse initially took photos of my incisions and monitored throughout my stay. A special thanks to every nurse and nurse assistant that took care of me (Genalyn, Alonso, Katie, Isaac, Joy, Trina, Kimmy, etc) were so caring and patient. The dietitian was very knowledgeable and ensured that I got the proper nutrition along with Rochelle from the cafeteria/kitchen, who came to my room everyday to take my food order for the following day. EVERY meal and dessert I had was phenomenal!!! I also can't say enough about the amazing physical therapy team (hands on Isabelle, Chelsea and Lauren) who worked with me multiple times per day and sent me home with print outs of home exercises. The Occupational Therapist were also great (Natalie worked with me daily on ensuring I could function at home and sent me home with tools, the lovely Analyn who helped cover my incisions while helping me shower and the motivational Stewart who led the fun group classes to strengthen my upper body). And, I can't forget Micky my Case Manager, who worked with me and my husband closely prior to me being discharged to ensure my success at home, along with Jeff and Lindsey and Dr. Lee. I also appreciated that Banner West coordinated with Mayo Clinic prior to my transfer to ensure they had a list of my current meds. Rest assured, Banner West Rehab Hospital will take great care of you and your loved ones.
My husband was a patient here to recover for 3 different surgeries. We were impressed by: quality of care, physical therapy regimen, food, kindness of caregivers and cleanliness of facility.
