Some of the clinics such as infusion and X-ray and respiratory and laboratory are poorly ran and poorly managed. They call to inquire about scheduling patient but do not answer their phones are very aggregating to deal with... A robotic system would be better than front desk people who cant answer the phone who are busy texting on their own personal phones or looking personal stuff up . At least a robotic system can pick up the line and schedule or confirm appointment and can be used to gather or communicate information and complete tasks with less frustration and more efficiently than front desk people who don't answer the phone and who don't want to work and do the jobs they're paid to do ....
While my father in law was in the hospital with a broken femur and other medical issues the doctors and nurses treated him with great respect, concern, and care. Nurses Sue and Bailey were great and we were very thankful for their care and professionalism. It made a very hard time for him and the family a little easier. I have no complaints and only praise for the care they gave us.
During my many tests and procedures at CPH every doctor, nurse, aid, or whomever attends to help has been absolutely amazing, I have nothing but praise for the staff..they are all kind, respectful and even laugh at the sometimes corney jokes I spill out..so,thank you CPH for hiring a wonderful staff..blessings to all....
This hospital doesn't nor do clinics care if you are in pain. They are more worried about playing politics with your health care. Unfortunately they are the only hospital near by. In fact they contract one doctor who lives in the lower 48 and has telehealth appointments with you but you must appear in his clinic. He only flies to Alaska one week a month to do spine injections. Biased and all. Tells you to come back in 6 months but he is only contracted with the hospital until the end of December. And he only does injections into the spine. So in essence this so called doctor gets to have his cake and eat it too and once a month gets a free vacation. And during fishing season that's huge. This entire state is a joke when it comes to health care. They don't care about your quality of life!!! They seem to prefer your death over keeping you alive and or helping you with a,quality of life. If you have health issues do not move to Alaska!!! Andxmore specifically do not move to the kenai peninsula i do not recommend kenai Spine to anyone. Now their neurology clinic and doctors are awesome and amazing. These so called telehealth appointments with said doctor should be recorded to protect patients and t9 show how rude and disrespectful Dr. PEARCE TRULY IS. his MA is also rude and just as condescending as he is.... I usually don't wish bad or harm to anyone but one day .... he himself will get treated in the same manner in which he treats patients. Not a care in the world and guess what your medical degree won't help you unless you know a shady doctor without integrity like yourself.
I recently took my son to the ER after a fall, and I was thoroughly impressed with the care we received. As a hospital employee who recently moved from the lower 48, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the experience was comparable, if not better, than what I've seen at much larger hospitals. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive, compassionate, and professional. They made sure he felt comfortable and took the time to explain every step of his treatment, which helped put us both at ease. The wait time was reasonable, and we felt like he was in excellent hands the entire time. I’m so grateful for the team who turned a potentially stressful situation into such a positive experience. Highly recommend this ER for anyone needing emergency care!
