I do agree having to wait for the Dr for about an hour an half is frustrating but keep in mind they are drs and they do get called in on emergency’s, and it’s not the assistants fault she does have to tell many other patients that the Dr is in fact out of the office in an emergency surgery. But the assistant Gaby went out of her way and offered us a cup of coffee which I gladly accepted it was the most delicious cup of coffee I’ve had. We took our leave after that and she called me later that day about 11 that the Dr had just got in the office and we would be the first ones to be seen. I’m a caregiver so my patient was seen in fact and I’m very thankful for Gaby she made our wait less irritable.
Got here at 11 am for the urgent care. Still in the waiting room. Meanwhile over a handful of people have come and registered to be seen after us and have been called back. There’s no way the girl put us in the queue/line to be seen when we initially came in and paid the co-payment. I had to ask if we were still in line to be seen. Now all of a sudden we’re next to be seen. I would hope so there’s only 2 other people left in here to be seen.
My issue isn't with the staff themselves - it's the fact they are UNDER-staffed. Why does it take 20 minutes on hold to speak to anyone? Every. Time. I. Call. They staff tries their best, but if your average wait time on hold is over 30 minutes - you are understaffed.
The lack of communication within this office is unreal and laughable.. I’ve never had a Dr tell me one thing, and then a week later, have an entitled receptionist or medical assistant tell me something completely different…
Absolutely terrible. Phone rang for so long and when they finally answered, some woman named Maria was already irritated an and quickly hung up on me. I was in the middle of asking her a question too. I understand there’s a lot of callers but you don’t hang up on people who have been waiting forever for the phone to be answered. This is your job. Be professional. Makes sense why there’s so many bad reviews because it looks like it’s mainly the people in the front.
