Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Murrieta

On October 1, I was admitted to encompass health in Murrieta after brain surgery at UCSD Jacob’s Medical Center. I did not know what a rehabilitation hospital was, nor was I in a coherent state of mind when I arrived. However, I cannot express how blessed I was To have found Encompass Health in Murrieta. Their nurses, PT/OT staff and administration seemingly went out of their way to make sure I was being taken care of. The genuineness of their care is the big reason why I am writing this as I was in my most vulnerable stage of my life that I had ever been in, Having been left motionless on my right leg and overall weakness on the right side of my body due to my surgery. The time I spent at encompass healthcare was exactly what I needed. It was approximately a week and a half of recovery, PT, OT and overall general care that led to me being able to leave with confidence, knowing that while I still need to recover, they had me when I needed them most! I cannot put a price or value on the level of care that I received, and I think everyone from the top down! The care and concern was evident with everyone, even the cleaning staff, lunch staff and especially the nurses, PT and OT staff. Unbelievable!

Encompass is the benchmark of rehabilitation, the facility is spotless and the staff is incredibly educated and very knowledgeable in care Calvin and Megan where off the chain, the had patients and their knowledge was spot on, I believe 1 of the senior staff members of physical therapy is Andy his knowledge has completely changed my life and perspective on up coming surgeries of course Vickie she was very stern and diligent and I needed that because I really appreciate someone pushing me. I have to thank all the Doctors very compassionate and there incredible response to care is spot on. I have to also share my experience with nurse Leslie and Calvin on several occasions I would have severe mental health issues I am diagnosed with PTSD and severe depression, both of these amazing professionals spent extra time with me especially when I would get very emotional and cry and confused about my health care and current disabilities, they should be specially recognized for their extraordinary efforts way after there shift time and took their time out of their lives to make sure I was okay and on the right path. I continue to ask Shawny my case manager if I could extend my stay because there was great benefits and support from the whole team. I didn’t know you could appeal my insurance Shawny my case worker guided me through the process and I got xtra time at this premium facility. If you’re looking for a professional facility and you don’t have to give it a second thought about leaving your loved ones with strangers I completely understand it’s a big decision and they are very serious about rehabilitation to get you back to your home and life’s this is the facility you and your family will receive the finest care in California that I am aware of.

Encompass and their staff had demonstrated the same service and satisfaction above and beyond their job descriptions in their chosen field. If you’re looking for a professional facility and you don’t have to give it a second thought about leaving your love ones with strangers I completely understand it’s a big decision and they are very serious about rehabilitation and cleanness of the facility the food is very important and spot on they come take your order daily the rehabilitation department is going to push you back to greatness Vicky one of the key physical therapist is going to challenge you to push when you don’t want to get out of bed and that is very admirable to get you motivated Calvin another physical therapist is going to show you very important techniques so you can adapt when you get back home and you have to get back to your life…Magen another part of the physical therapy team will help you understand your injury or illness to help you understand Aron another physical therapist is another part of this well oiled machine of therapy and wellness is going to take time and help you with self care and daily chores of your life… the nursing staff is very attentive and understanding and take the time out to explain your medication and help you understand your healing, especially nurse Leslie she was my nurse last year and spent time with me and saved my life last year because of a bad infection I caught at the county hospital last year from a very nasty infection,, Nurse Chantelle my nurse was so caring about every part of my recovery the nursing staff is outstanding and explaining your daily medication and daily needs….Nurse Cat with wound care save my leg last year and gave me stellar care currently…Nurse Margret is very attentive and caring and always available on her shift I am truly grateful.. the doctors are 💯 perfect available and all about wellness …and all the CNA are 💯 percent all over your every need and if you hit your call light they are in your room in minutes with a smile on their face… Dr.King I personally had to deal with tremendous pain because Femur breaks are extremely painful and he constantly adjusting my medication so I can be in comfort and hit it hard in physical therapy and perform exercises daily.. Dr.Wang remember me from last year and went out of his way to make sure all my needs are met and I was getting proper care and very friendly and 💯 percent committed to my recovery… Of course there are many more like the kitchen staff who always have a smile on there face and maintenance that if there are any problems or issues are taken care of in a timely manner.. I had the air vent that was blowing on my injured leg and causing me discomfort and maintenance in less than 24 hours had a solution with a air diverter and splitter and solved the problem.. the facility and especially the grounds and the gym is spotless.. My case manager Seane’ is an angel always checking on me and getting me to doctor’s appointment and scheduling transportation.. and helping advocating for me when I get bad service and care and is another very important part of my health care and having a exit plan for discharging me for my next step in my recovery.. I want the best for my health care needs and recovery navigating this situation and my personal healthcare is paramount to me… The whole team is about you and getting back on the road enjoying your life !!!!

Encompass Health is the BEST Hospital and Rehab Hospital that I have ever had the opportunity to attend in Eight years of surgeries. If YOU want to get the most out of your dollars or insurance dollars for being Rehabbed, Encompass Health is for you. From Upper Management, Accountants, Pharmacists, Case Managers, and Dietary personnel will pop visit you. Doctors checking on you with a casual conversation. Nurses Supervisor visiting you. RN Nurses, Training Nurses, are there without being called. CNA and support staff for meals and other functions is there for you. From Orientation to PT, OP, and various teams and all the team members are there to show you the best way for your recovery (no cookie cutter). Understanding how that charm bracelet on your arm will motivate you to want to get better and become more independent. Ten days at Encompass Health with the Supreme Leadership, the Professional team members , and Respectful personal has done more for me, than Eight years of various surgeries and numerous Rehabs. Encompass Health Personnel, I Thank you for giving me back my life back. On the road to recovery.
