I was in the ER on the night before Christmas Eve with postpartum preeclampsia and the doctor, nurse and phlebotomist on staff that night were God sent. I thank you Dr. Goyaldeepa, And your nurse and the phlebotomist Laquinta for making me feel comfortable and knowing that I was going to be taking care of. That was the best experience I ever had at this hospital. Keep it up you guys
I hope Helena Regional Medical Center is ready for a lawsuit because they are getting what they deserve. On my last visit before the doctor even saw me he had already made up his mind I was just dehydrated. The doctor treated me like a worthless piece of crap, belittling me and calling someone on the phone talking about me while I could hear, stating he had me on an IV and would release me soon. I forced him to run tests he didn't want to run and then he came back saying nothing was found. 2 weeks later I saw a GI doctor had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done 2 weeks after that intial visit and low and behold I had a laundry list of issues in my GI that were making me sick! Prior to that ER visit I came in with uncontrolled high blood pressure. 165/106, I was rudely interrogated by the nurse, hooked up to a heart monitor and left alone in the room for nearly 2 hrs. No one checked on me, no doctor came and all I heard was who wants what for lunch. I left without being seen. I had 2 other similar visits being told nothing was wrong with me and I would be seen later in Littlerock to find out there was something seriously wrong. I have refused to pay them my copays because they don't deserve a penny. the doctors act like pompous know it alls who are better than everyone, yet they fail to treat anyone not only medically but with dignity like they took an oath to do.
was terrified to go here bc of other reviews but it was 3:30a.m & I had been in constant excruciating pain for 2 hours so I went. Everyone I interacted with was very nice & that was the fastest ER I've ever been to. I was there for maybe an hour from the time I stepped in the door to check in to the time I walked out after being discharged! I've been to quite a few ERs all over the country bc I travel with work and this hospital was by far, the best.
Over a decade ago, my mom went in for complications with eating. The hospital kept pushing her appointment dates later and later, until her complications gotten worse. Then when they finally admitted her in, they punctured her lungs using a feeding tube...not once, but twice. And they claimed they couldn't find what the issue was. So they called me and my stepdad to come back in for her final moments because of that. It was hard to see my mother in that state(almost near death), and me being not even 21 yet... I'm 35 now. So, later that night, luckily they found the issue and sent my mother to Memphis.
My son had to visit the ER at this place while we were in Arkansas fr family visit and I have nothing to say but full compliments and positives for the doctor and nurses that help us with my Son. This review is for their accounting department. First, the incompetents at their accounting did not correctly billed our insurance, thus did not get paid and they send us a bill of over $3K with a threat of go into collection agency and become 'bad debt' if the bill is not pay by the due date, which is like 10 days from the statement date and 4 days from the date we get the mail. We had to contact them and the insurance and spend quite a bit of times and efforts and had it sorted out (at least that was what we thought). However, we just got another bill of $100 after the insurance paid them (we paid like $2K/month premium and our copays is $50 with 100% coverages and copays is from insurance compaby) with the 'Final Notice' and collection agency threat and bad debt/bad credit B.S again and the due date is 5 days out from the date we received the bill. That is just ridiculous and the most ridiculous part is the threat of referring to collection agency and bad debt/bad credit threats, which shuold not come from a hospital but more of loan shark?
