I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent visit to your Emergency Department. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and did not meet my expectations for patient care. I sought medical attention due to a back injury and explained to the attending physician that I have a documented history of significant disc-related issues, including previous consultations in which surgical intervention had been discussed. Given my medical history and the nature of my current injury, I requested diagnostic imaging to better understand the extent of the injury and determine whether follow-up treatment with a specialist would be necessary. During the visit, I felt that my concerns and medical history were not adequately considered. Despite my repeated explanations regarding my prior back condition, the physician discouraged further imaging and appeared to rely primarily on general assumptions about similar injuries rather than evaluating my individual circumstances. As a patient, I was seeking a thorough assessment and a treatment plan based on objective diagnostic information. Because I remained concerned about the severity of my injury, I sought care at another emergency department immediately after leaving your facility. There, diagnostic imaging was performed, allowing me to receive additional evaluation and guidance regarding my condition. While I understand that emergency physicians treat a wide range of cases and must exercise clinical judgment, I believe patients should feel heard, have their medical history appropriately considered, and receive a level of care that instills confidence in the evaluation process. Unfortunately, that was not my experience during this visit. I hope this feedback is helpful as you continue to evaluate and improve the quality of patient care provided within your organization.
I really had a long and terrible experience there. They checked me in and then I had to wait 40 minutes just to be triaged. Once that happened, they put me in the hallways of the ER room with about 30 other people who are waiting many hours just to be seen. About four hours later, I was finally seen by a Doctor Who prescribed some antibiotics for me. They were in pill form. I had to wait another hour just to get the antibiotics which could’ve been given to me in seconds! The nurses were not coordinated and did not know their role. I saw endless people walking around doing nothing. They really were not organized in the ER room at all. It was a real cluster! I will never go there again!
If you’re going to be in the hospital, this is the best place to be. I had hernia surgery there and my surgeon was great and so was the nursing staff. Made me feel very comfortable considering the situation.Thank-You Alyssa! You brought my stress level down from 10 to 0. You are an amazing nurse and a wonderful person.
My special needs brother Merl Sanderson was in the hospital for 6 days. We had the best nurses. Andy RN, Charles RN and Norrie RN and CNA Savanna. They went above abd beyond for my brother. They were the best! Room 6010! 6th floor nurses rock! ❤️🏨🏥
I went in for an outpatient surgery and was greeted with all smiles. From the concierge that escorted me to the beautiful nurses I had. I can only remember my head nurse and her name was Maribel. Bless her! The new section of the hospital is pristine! I only gave 4 stars because my anesthesiologist was rude and abrupt. Talked to me for maybe 2 minutes before surgery which really troubled me. Of course he didn’t listen to my requests and I am miserable today because of his negligence! I will be following up to see if he works for the hospital or my ortho just to be sure I never get him again Thank you Southwest Healthcare for saving Inland Valley Hospital. Keep up the amazing restoration!
