Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 12:22 AMTwo things: First, the lady at the front desk shouldn't be laughing at patients asking for PEP, or talking loudly enough that the other patients can hear, and she needs to be informed that the clinic does not offer this service. It's bad enough that I was humiliated when I was trying to register my reason for the visit, but I then had to wait in the queue for over five hours, only to be informed by the nurse that you do not offer the procedure. Secondly, please ensure that your nurses are properly informed about PEP. The nurse I spoke to (blonde wig, mask on, cleverly keeps her name tag hidden) tried to tell me that my time was already up and seemed unaware that there is a 72 hour window period for it. When I corrected her, she became snippy and told me to try a hospital then. I'm grateful for this peice of advice because I did get the help I needed there. However, the last thing you need after a traumatic experience is this kind of treatment. Please train your staff.
