I forgot to bring my therapy band from home. So I called and asked if they had any to sell, and instead they offered to give me some! When I stopped by to pick it up and repeated my offer to pay, they again declined it. Everyone was kind, efficient, and incredibly friendly, and despite being the base of a big ski resort, made me feel like Mammoth Lakes is the best version of a tightly knit small town.
My husband and I experienced carbon monoxide poisoning while in Bishop, and by the time we arrived at the ER we were feeling extremely unwell. The team took us in immediately, checked all of our vitals, ran blood work, monitored our hearts, and treated us with such patience and kindness. The nurses and doctors were truly wonderful — attentive, compassionate, and professional throughout the entire process. If emergency rooms were like this everywhere, people wouldn’t be afraid to seek care sooner, and many serious issues could be prevented. We received oxygen treatment right away, which made a major difference in how we felt. Thank you for not dismissing our concerns and for allowing us to stay until we felt safe and noticeably better. We are incredibly grateful for the care we received.

We were visiting from SoCal and our son fell sick, these folks were very nice to accommodate us for a same day appointment and did the needful. We saw Dr. Collins, she is just awesome, answered all our Qs and guided us clearly on next steps.. wishing good health, if you ever need to seek help this facility is just apt for a vacation town.
Mammoth Hospital made it easy for me to schedule an appointment and evaluate the ankle problems I was having. They saw me very close to on my schedule appointment time and the doctor was excellent in his bedside manner and diagnosis. I would highly recommend Dr. Knecht! All the information he provided was extremely valuable and helpful to my situation as well as he treated my problem on the visit. I’m very grateful for how the whole procedure went. Thank you!
