I have been her 2 years. The front desk staff is really nice. Maggie was the first contact I had and she was great, every body else is great too. I have also talked to Rhonda a lot. The first psychiatrist I had, I didn’t care for her. My first counselor was great(Amanda) she is no longer there. I now see Christa, she is the best! Amanda my first counselor who I loved got me a new psychiatrist. Dr Jensen, he is absolutely amazing, he is so educated, I have had so many psychiatric over the last 14 years and I really have to say he is the best I’ve had, he really listens to me. I have to admit I have heard that Polara is not the best but I have to say I really, really like them, so thank you Polara for helping this bipolar girl who also has PTSD, borderline personality disorder and anxiety disorder, you guys keep it up.
After being with them for over 2 years they closed my case because "lack of contact". I was just trying to get a new therapist. I had appointments still scheduled and was talking with them regularly, besides my therapist. Not to mention the case manager they assigned me I never heard from, not once being there. I didn't even know I had a case manager, come to find out she was so post to be contacting me at least once a month. The case manger I still haven't heard from was the only one able to change my therapist. I called left voicemails and received nothing. They referred me to the head case manager( I don't recall his title) . I was of course met with the same after leaving voicemails and no response back. This place is horrible and the front office lady Maggie is a very rude and unkind person. Not the person to be the first to answer to mentally ill people seeking help when it's already a battle to ask in the first place.
My experience here has been absolutely wonderful. Front office receptionist is so kind and helpful. Most recent they added some refreshments to waiting room, bottled water and some snack items which was nice. I'm not a fan of using the wall water fountains in public so I appreciate the addition of those bottle waters. ❤️
I was turned away today (3/3/22) because I am a self-pay patient. I was told they only have the staff to help people with insurance. I am in the middle of a mental health crisis. It is already tremendously hard to ask for help in this state. But to be told that others are more worthy of being helped than me because of how I pay is devastating. I have a life, a family, a job. I am doing the best that I can to be a productive member of society and to get helped. But to constantly be kicked in the face after putting everything into this system and getting ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return makes everything absolutely hopeless. They gave me no referrals to anyone else. No nothing. Told me to get lost basically. OUR SYSTEM IS ABSOLUTELY BROKEN. Thank you for nothing.
Use to be 5 stars now not even one can tell by one call this is a mental health hub that from what I can tell has POS services and why all there long term employees no longer work there can even get someone to talk to you respectfully even as min wage front counter job
