I went into the emergency room for possible issues with my heart and in 5 minutes they had me in a room and started the tests and then moved me to the cardiac ward and the next morning installed a stent and was able to go home later that day!!! So couldn’t have asked for better to care to be honest. Sooo glad to have left Kaiser and get out of their advantage care program at the end of last year.

I recently had an emergency visit and short hospital stay at Providence Hospital in Santa Rosa, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. I was admitted through the ER, and from there everything moved efficiently and seamlessly. I was able to get all the necessary tests, undergo surgery, and be back in my room all in the same day, which honestly felt incredible given the circumstances. I was discharged the next day, feeling well cared for and supported every step of the way. What truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional staff. The nurses and doctors were not only highly professional and competent, but also genuinely kind and compassionate during a stressful time as I don’t live in California and was on a trip. Their care made a huge difference in my recovery. A very special thank you to the exceptional nursing staff who cared for me - Andrew, Rocio, Lorna, Morgan, Diane, David, Cassie, Steve, and Jessica, for your attentiveness and warmth. And to Dr. Courtney White, Dr. Darin Brunson, and Dr. Mike Altaf, thank you for your expertise, patience and outstanding care. I’m incredibly grateful for the team at Providence for making what could have been a very difficult experience feel manageable and even reassuring. Highly recommend.

Memorial Hospital My week stay for an auto accident that broke my hip and caused a massive hematoma plus I am on dialysis. The staff were amazing. Most were hard working and helpful. One overnight nurse was horrible, but she was an extreme outlier. Mel was an excellent outstanding nurse during that period. Joyful at her job, works too hard maybe and organizes to nth degree. She truly deserves an award if only from what I saw and experienced during my stay. Thank you

I recently visited the Santa Rosa Memorial hospital for an MRI scan, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The nurses were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive—they made sure I felt comfortable and well-prepared before the procedure, taking the time to explain everything clearly. The MRI technician was outstanding. He was very patient, calm, and reassuring, especially since MRIs can feel a bit intimidating. They guided me through each step, checked in regularly, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible throughout the scan. I truly appreciated the level of care, compassion, and professionalism shown by the entire team. The environment was clean, organized, and efficient, which helped ease any anxiety I had. Thank you to the nurses and technician for making what could have been a stressful experience so smooth and positive. Highly recommend! Sandy

Everyone has had their experiences and it's always a mixed bag. But, I have to say, I've had nothing but the best care. I've been going since 2021 when I had emergency surgery for a stage 3 colon tumor. They literally saved my life twice. Once to remove the obstruction and then when I went septic when the surgery site was just overwhelmed after the resection due to compounded issues. I've hsd multiple surgeries there, had great care and are on a 3 or 6 month scan schedule depending on its recurrence (happened once already). The scans are always on time and quick. The staff is great. One word of advice for people going in - be kind and friendly to the staff. They'll bend over backwards for you. They'll remember your name. It'll make everyone's experience, no matter how traumatic, better and easier to manage. Looking for jobs now, I'll only take the ones which allow me to use this hospital and their local satellite facilities. My oncologist is the best. The trauma surgeons had great bedside manner and, as I wrote above, literally saved my life twice. It would be great to see a newer facility be added, as was once proposed, so cancer patients weren't using old, horrribly tiny, children's rooms, but that's about my biggest complaint.
