Monday, March 18, 2024 at 4:01 PMPlease provide in service educational material to staff regarding protocol incorporating treatment of patients with PTSD.I was treated in the emergency room in the Thomas hospital, Malbis location earlier in the month. While the on staff physician and nurse were very knowledgeable and kind,a respiratory tech. actually poked me in the stomach and told me to stop hyperventilating during my personal crisis.This was percieved as a potential threat and was very hurtful and unappreciated. A goodly number of people actually have a PTSD component and all of us should be respected as members of one family/the human family.
