I had to go here for a check up and I must say everyone was so nice to me. I didn’t feel any bad energy. In fact I felt very welcomed and respected during my visit. I wish I knew who my doctors were because I would give them a special shout out.
I am absolutely impressed by the efficiency at which UAMS Family Medical Center runs. I've never had to wait & all my records are readily available to my provider. Dr. Cooper is a great doctor. He is knowledgeable and thorough. Best doctor I've had in my 20 years in Arkansas.
Over the last year and a half I have had a great doctor...but unfortunately she graduated in June. I now have a rude arrogant know it all guy name Clinton Akin...because he couldn't complete his job on today he has put my job as well as my health at jeopardy .These students come through UAMS and try to strip their patients of their dignity by communicating with them in slang and trying to undermine their medical wellbeing with their personal beliefs ...nothing that's taught in medical school... It makes the entire medical staff look bad..

I've had some wonderful doctors here, but my pharmacy will request refills of meds and no one acts until I've called and they've faxed several times. I've been out of meds for over a week sometimes. They're very slow unless you get an appt each tim. I long for days of paper prescriptions!!!
