Our care emphasizes disease prevention and healthy lifestyle promotion.

In our small community we believe the family medicine model is best to have long standing relationships with patients and their families. We believe it is crucial in our isolated setting to have a knowledgeable primary care provider that can work with local and out of town specialists to co-manage chronic illness and cancer care.

Valley medical is a great practice. All of the staff from the receptionists, to the nurses, to the docs, all seem genuinely focused on providing good quality care. I’ve been coming here for at least 25 years, and it’s been consistently a good experience.
Knowledgeable and professional staff. Answers questions and provides excellent patient care, especially after care. When you call you always talk to a live person and not a phone tree with a response days later.
The Doctors & medical staff there is great. They are informative, knowledgable, follow up & through with what they say they will do. My low rating & the ONLY reason I will NEVER use this place again is because of 1 completely out of line, rude receptionist, billing clerk or whatever her position is there they should NOT be letting her deal with their patients, I am assuming she's been there awhile because the nice repectionist that answered my call when I was trying to schedule an appointment for a very serious health issue, asked to put me on hold after she took my name & got my birthday then transfered me to the awful lady that informed me I was not allowed to make an appointment because they sent me to collections even though I NEVER received a bill or ANYTHING in the mail from them ever. After I informed the lady of this she told me "we sent you a letter in December 2025. After I explained to her I NEVER have ever received ANYTHING in the mail from them EVER & asked her what address they sent it to & she started to say some PO Box & I stopped her & said "well thats the problem I don't have a PO Box." She then replied "oh no so you didn't up date us on your address". Which I don't know if they updated my address or not in their records but I had been seen like 3 times there before so not sure why they wouldn't have checked or mentioned anything to me during any of the times I came in to their office. I was getting frustrated & said "so you turned me into collections without even calling or notifying me that I owed a co-pay(since I have insurance through my employer) , well I guess I'll just have to make an appt somewhere else then since I can't make one at your clinic because you folks didn't update my address & she said "ok bye" & hung up on me. If she wouldn't have acted like that I would have found out how I can get my bill paid & apologized for the misunderstanding & still been a patient of theirs BUT THATS WHAT CRAPPY SERVICE GETS YOU... NOTHING!
Actually Dr. Luke Mather is an excellent doctor and very thorough in his examination, very knowledgeable and patient. Takes time with patients. Good listener and kind. The staff at Valley medical are also friendly and helpful as well as very professional. It’s also a very clean facility. Lab results are the same or next day. Wonderful practice.
All the staff are very attentive and friendly. The nurse, practitioner, and doctor were very professional and attentive at all times, making you feel comfortable.
