I’m from out of town and had to come into the er. It’s always nerve recking having to go to the er out of town. The staff were wonderful! All the nurses were so nice and took such great care of me! I have a pretty complicated medical history and Dr. Mason really made sure to double check and make sure I was ok on all avenues. She even did research on my condition as it’s not very common. The staff went above and beyond to make sure i was ok. They even went ahead and put my imaging on a cd for me to give to my doctors at home, without me having to even ask. I’m so thankful for the great care Dr. Mason and all the staff provided for me.
I went in WAMC on Tuesday late afternoon and told them my BP was high, and that I felt a sinus infection. Sure enough BP at 200 . They ran tests on me . To sum it up quickly, It's been many yrs since I've been to any Hospital. But I can say that their team of staff were very friendly , concerned, and communicative. They prescribe me BP pills and antibiotics for sinus infection. Again , SO FRIENDLY and CARING. , I was there 2 hours and I was across the street at CVS getting my medication. Thank you again 💓 🫶
The doctor had a great bedside manner the nurses were very attentive. I was in and out of that hospital within 2 hours. Wonderful experience Thank you guys for taking such good care of me today!
My mother was taken to their ER via ambulance and she received excellent care from the nurses in ER, Zack, Monica and Pat who all helped her to feel comfortable and handle her stay. The nursing team helped triage her promptly upon arrival and tests were done quickly. The doctor working with her ordered tests quickly and she received the medical care she needed to stabilize her. She was then admitted and the nursing staff in the main hospital were excellent as well, Paulina, Sofia, Elijah, and CNA Cindy. The admissions nurses were great ( unfortunately I do not remember their name), but they completed her admission as promptly as possible and remained in good communication. During her stay, the nursing team maintained good communication with her and myself. She received her meals promptly. They were very good with promptly completing all tests ordered each day. The attending doctor on shift each day was attentive ensuring orders were placed for needed tests to monitor her progress. They kept her safe. Everyone taking care of her were pleasant, friendly and attentive. The room was clean and quiet so she was able to rest. They helped her to recover and she was fine to go home on the third day with no deficits. The transporter Diane (if I recall her name correctly) who helped her down to the car was very nice. I would highly recommend this ER and hospital in the area.
Went in today after being advised by an urgent care to take my daughter to the ER since her symptoms were aligned with appendicitis. She is 3 years old and everyone who worked with her did great. We were there waiting for a long time (but in my opinion that is to be expected in any ER). Staff was very friendly and helpful even when my toddler was grumpy and wanted to go home. I appreciate all the assistance we got today and they made a very upsetting/stressful situation feel easier.
